Elle Glasse

I am a French - American multimedia artist based in Seattle Washington. I use painting, textiles, word art, and film to engage audiences by inviting them to move through each piece in their own time and through multiple lenses.  I was raised in Austin, Texas by two artists. My relationship with art is personal, visceral, and necessary to my understanding of, and survival in, the world. This relationship informs every aspect of my practice and is what I hope to share with my audience. My work focuses on themes of rebellion, joy, multiplicity, engagement, and reciprocal care.
